# Trigger

> The starting point that runs your workflow.

The Trigger node is where a workflow begins. Every node connected downstream of it runs when you start the workflow.

To run everything, select **Run Workflow**—the play button in the top right of the canvas. Sprello generates each connected node downstream of the trigger, in order.

Before you run, the trigger node shows an **estimate of the credit usage** for the full workflow run, so you know what a run will cost.
